From J27 of the M5, take the dual carriageway towards Tiverton for about 6 miles. Do not take the slip-road signed to Tiverton, instead, carry on until reaching a roundabout. Turn left at this roundabout, then right at the next mini-roundabout, then after passing Safeway on your left, turn right again at the next mini-roundabout. Then take the second left (signed to Witheridge) onto the B3137.

Follow this road for 10 miles, through Withleigh and Nomansland. Just past Nomansland take the fork off to the left signed to Thelbridge. The Thelbridge Cross Inn is 2 miles further on the right.
